Bio from Erik Kaarsberg Lottrup, a Lottrup family historian:
Meyer, 1830 - 1909. Although he was cand. pharm., he trained to be a photographer. Photographs at this time were the height of fashion, and perhaps more exciting than being a pharmacist. When he married Martha, he lived for some years with his in-laws on Lottrupgård, from which he exercised the craft as a photographer. In 1866 he set up with photographic studio in Hobro, which he sold in 1875, and then became a pharmacist in Mariager. It's him we can thank for the old family photos.
Death: An unverified Geni family web page indicates 7 December 1909 in Aarhus, Aarhus Municipality, Central Denmark Region, Denmark
